Should I replace my boiler or switch to a heat pump?
If your home is well insulated and you can claim the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, a heat pump usually costs less to run long term. If you need heat back fast or your radiators need major changes, a new A-rated boiler — or a hybrid heat pump + boiler system — can be the better route. We price both at the survey.
What is a hybrid heat pump system?
A hybrid pairs an air source heat pump with a gas boiler. The heat pump handles most of the year, and the boiler tops up on the coldest days — ideal for older homes not yet ready for full radiator upgrades.
Can you service a boiler you didn't install?
Yes — we service and repair all major makes, whoever fitted it.
